Delhi Dynamos host Mumbai City FC in their third home game of the Indian Super League (ISL) this season on Friday night, and Roberto Carlos is interested in nothing but climbing to the top of the table with a win.

Carlos' side are currently second in the league, a position below leaders FC Pune City, and full points in this match will give them a three-point advantage in the table.

"It's [Mumbai City FC] a good team. But our goal is to go ahead of Pune. It's very important for us to win so we can top the table. But Mumbai are a great team," said the Brazilian star ahead of the game.

Delhi suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mumbai when the two met the last time on 21 October at the D Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Referring to that match, Carlos said the teams in the ISL cannot be underestimated.

"You can't underestimate teams, and also the ISL is very competitive. So we have to be extra careful when we play tomorrow," he said, on being pointed out that Mumbai City FC are currently seventh in the league and have just three wins from seven games so far.

For Mumbai City FC, star players Sunil Chhetri and Sony Norde will miss crucial ties owing to their national committments. While Chhetri will miss just one game, Norde is expected to miss two.

"[The match against Delhi Dynamos] is a very big game for us. We want to find the best combination. We have never won an away game. We want to take the three points. We have nothing else in our mind. Tomorrow's game is very important," said Mumbai City FC assistant coach Oscar Bruzon.

"We will miss him [Sony Norde]. He has been very important to us. One of our best performers. For example, analyse the success of Sunil in terms of conversion; many of his goals came due to Sony," Bruzon explained.
