Episode 8 of "Heroes Reborn", aired on 5 November, was arguably the best episode of the series, and may be even its predecessor series "Heroes". However, the trailer for the upcoming "Sundae, Bloody Sundae" promises an even better episode.
Tommy aka Nathan (Robbie A Kay) is still coming to terms with who he is, and in the promo we see him sarcastically stating: "Claire Bennet is my mom. Hiro Nakamura is my step-dad. How's that complicated?" We recently found out that Claire (Hayden Panettiere) died giving birth to twins Nathan and Malina (Danika Yarosh), who were both taken back in time so they could be raised safely.
Although Nathan was raised and trained by Hiro to one day save the world, all of Nathan's memories had to be erased by Caspar, the Penny Man (Pruitt Taylor Vince). However, he seems to be getting a better understanding of who he is and what he needs to do, and if he is not, his girlfriend may be in deep trouble.
In the promo for "Sundae, Bloody Sundae", we see Joanne (Judith Shekoni), seemingly off the grid, threatening Emily (Gatlin Green) at the ice-cream shop. Although we collectively fear for her life, it is comforting to see Malina is there too, crouching to hide behind a wall.
It is understood that Claire's daughter has been separated from Luke (Zachary Levi) and is looking for him. In a promotional photo of the episode, we see him seemingly using his powers for the first time, also at the ice-cream shop. Our theory is Luke is stopping his wife from doing anything violent to Emily, and gets help from Malina, who ends up saving her twin brother's girlfriend.
Watch out for Season 1 Episode 9 of "Heroes Reborn" at 8 pm (EST) on Thursday, 12 November. You can also live stream "Sundae, Bloody Sundae" via NBC Live.
