According to the synopsis of the episode, Monroe might be in danger when Wesen business owners are targeted in a string of attacks being investigated by Nick and Hank.
Meanwhile, Trubel catches Nick and Adalind up on her recent activities and Captain Renard becomes involved in local politics when he endorses a candidate.
Jacqueline Toboni, who plays the character of Trubel, shared some details about how the character is quite similar to her in real life.
In an interview with Niagara Frontier Publications, the actress said: "I think the writers did a great job of kind of mirroring my life, at least a little bit, with Trubel's. I think, in (seasons) three and four, she's a deer in the headlights.
"She's a little bit behind the eight ball and everything's new. Her moral obligations are very simple. And, as she grows, she gets more responsibilities and a little bit more comfortable — and is able to think on her own and face, maybe, more complex problems."
She added that she relates to Trubel in many ways and is really comfortable playing the character.
In the upcoming episode, she will be seen telling Nick and Adalind (Claire Coffee) what happened to her while she was gone missing.
In the previous episode, titled "Rat King", two people turned up dead at a local Portland dump after they encountered what appeared to be the mythical Rat King.
Meanwhile, Nick met Meisner after taking an injured Trubel to the hospital.
Nick investigated the case both as a cop and as a Grimm, as he suspected that the creature was a Wesen and was lose on the streets of Portland.
Nick also handled his personal issues when a tired and injured Trubel showed up on his doorstep.
