The rise of the villains in "Gotham" has simmered down and now only one Super Villain prevails – Theo Galavan (James Frain). Galavan, who wants to bring the long overdue glory to his family that built the city, is playing the long con pretending to be a hero, and all of Gotham falls for his act.
But now, there is a new Super Villain in the making. One of the most iconic characters from the DC Universe Firefly (Michelle Veintimilla) will appear as a woman in the Fox series soon. We might get to see her in the upcoming Episode 5, as fire is a big element of "Sacrification".
In the coming episode, we will also see how Theo and Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) join hands with a "dangerous family", which could possibly be the famous Pike family. Firefly belongs to this family, which is basically a gang of arsonists. In the promo for the episode we see someone using a flamethrower to burn buildings down, and this person is most possibly a member of the family – it could even be Firefly.
While Penguin continues to work with Galavan – which if we know Penguin at all, we know it is going to end like Fish Mooney's (Jada Pinkett Smith) storyline – his former "friend" Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and partner Harvey (Donal Logue) work hard to maintain the relative peace in Gotham.
The episode will also see the introduction of a hooded, mysterious new character, who asks Theo if he has Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) with him, to which he replies he will, soon enough. It is understood that "Sacrification" will reveal the long-standing rivalry between the Galavans and Waynes. And this hooded member could have a huge part in this long history?
Watch out for Season 2 Episode 5 of "Gotham" at 8.00pm (EST) on Monday, 19 October. You can also live stream "Sacrification" via Fox Now!
