The girls of "Girls" are going through various facets of life, and while Marnie (Allison Williams) is floating in marital bliss, the other three aren't feeling as comfortable with their own lives. As fans will remember, in the previous episode titled "Japan," Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) decided to stay back in Japan despite losing her job, while Hannah (Lena Dunhan) and Jessa (Jemima Kirke) are facing boy troubles.
In the upcoming Season 5 Episode 4 of "Girls," Jessa will have to put an end to the will-they-wont-they drama with Adam (Adam Driver) for good. And it looks like they will decide to move forward, rather than keep their feelings at bay. As fans know, Jessa is worried about hurting Hannah's history with Adam, and had decided that the best thing for them to do is to move on as friends.
However, in the promo for "Old Loves," Adam tells her that if Hannah were in Jessa's shoes, she would not have been as considerate. "I didn't say I liked her," Jessa replies. Adam clearly has strong feelings for Jessa and enquires about why she hasn't texted him back despite him reaching out to her numerous times.

Meanwhile, Hannah is having her own troubles with Fran (Jake Lacy) and complains about him to the newly married Marnie. In the previous episode, fans had seen how upset she was that Fran still had nude photos of his ex-girlfriend. She even took nudes of her own and replaced the ex's photos in Fran's phone with her own while he was asleep.
In "Old Loves," Fran tells her that she is "being too much," to which Hannah replies: "I'm not being too much. I am being just enough." Every sign is pointing towards a heated fight between the couple and consequent break-up.
