Fans of "Girls" have been split about Season 5, especially with the newly evolving relationship between Adam (Adam Driver) and Jessa (Jemima Kirke). While they decide on whether to be friends or take it further than that, Shoshanna (Zoisa Mamet) makes a life-changing decision.
In the upcoming episode aptly titled "Japan," Shoshanna tells her new friends that she feels like she belongs in Japan and that she is thinking about never returning to the US. She is extremely happy with her boss and her job.
In the promo for the episode, she is heard telling her friends, "I truly feel like this is my home and you people are family, and I don't even really care about people in America anymore." However, they look back at her like she is crazy.
Meanwhile, Hannah (Lena Dunham) becomes stressed after learning that her live-in boyfriend Fran (Jake Lacy) has nude photos of his ex girlfriend in his phone. However, when Hannah confronts him, he defends himself with, "I use them to ma*****ate."

It seems like the photos got Hannah insecure, because in another scene, she is seen doing a naked photo shoot. She also confesses to Elijah (Andrew Rannells) that until she saw the photos of Fran's ex-girlfriend, she was "basically Kate Upton" to herself.
Hannah's ex-boyfriend Adam, on the other hand, has been hanging out with her close friend Jessa (Jemima Kirke) since Marnie's (Allison Williams) wedding. However they have tried their best to not take the relationship forward to spare Hannah's feeling.
In the previous episode, the two of them even pleasured themselves while sitting at far edges of a couch because Jessa thought it would help them cool off without getting physical with each other. While a few fans are happy to see Adam moving on from Hannah, many still think Hannah and Adam are OTP.
