Season 2 episode 27 of Dinsey channel's "Girl Meets World" will be aired on Friday, 22 January. As the title "Girl Meets Money" suggests, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her friends will learn about the value of money in the episode.
The episode will also mark the return of Lee Norris as Minkus, Farkle's father, while Mark Cuban will guest star as himself. In the episode, Cory (Ben Savage), Topanga (Danielle Fisher) and Minkus, their childhood friend, teach the children how important and, at the same time, trivial, money is. In the promo for "Girl Meets Money", the parents reveal that they will give some money away, and that they would want all the children to be part of it.
They have also sought the help of Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, in enabling the kids to understand about money. There is also a chance that one of them may end up with quite a bit of money, and while Riley and Lucas (Peyton Meyer) believe that no amount of money can change them, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) start dreaming about what to do with the money that they haven't even received.
This scenario shows how similar Riley and Lucas are, and that Maya and Lucas are not alike. Is this a clue on writers' plans for season 3? It is unlikely, but there is one thing that Rowan Blanchard, who plays Riley in the show, wants more than a love triangle – introduction of an LGBTQ character.
When a fan posted "BisexualRileyMatthews2k16" on Twitter, Blanchard responded stating that as a queer person herself, she is all for the representation on the show.
@rowblanchard I agree. and for the kids who r struggling w their identity, I think such a big show(gmw) having lgbtqa+ rep would be amazing
