Everyone who's been waiting to see a plot laden with Westerosi drama can rejoice. The last and final instalment of "Game of Thrones" Season 6, episode 10 titled "Winds of Winter," is about to air and when it does, all the major characters who have been far away from home will return to their familiar place.
[Major Spoilers Ahead]
The Season 6 finale of "Game of Thrones" will focus predominantly on the action that takes place in Westeros, especially in King's Landing. Having said that, what can we expect when "Winds of Winter" airs?
Here are our top 7 predictions:
Arya Stark will strike a person off her list
Just how thrilling was it when Arya (Maisie Williams) finally told Jaqen h'ghar she belongs in Westeros? The youngest daughter of Ned Stark will make an appearance in Season 6 episode 10 and according to spoilers, her first stop will be at The Twins.
Arya will exact revenge for what Walder Frey (David Bradley) did to her mother and brother at the Red Wedding in Season 3. Arya, in true rat cook's fashion, will serve him a Frey Pie and will proceed to kill him. We suspect her sword Needle, will be used again.
Jon Snow becomes King in the North
After winning the "Battle of the B-------" Jon's (Kit Harington) credibility as a leader will resound in the North. Many have speculated that Lyanna Mormont, the 10-year-old girl from Bear Island will rally behind Jon in order to make him King in the North.
The northerners will not be bothered by his b------ status and he might not be legitimised because King Tommen might not issue a royal decree and bless him with the surname, Stark.
Tower of Joy
So far, Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" has teased at the fan-favourite R+L=J theory but hasn't confirmed it yet.
In the finale, Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) will have one last flash back and will learn that Jon is not a b------. According to reddit user Truede, the finale will give credence to the fan theory by depicting a series of rapid scenes in which Lyanna Stark is seen whispering to Ned, who later carries a baby, who we can assume is Jon.
There are many speculations that Bran could reunite with Sansa in episode 10. However, this remains to be seen. In any case, he will travel to the wall in the Season 6 finale.
King Tommen's Death
To be sure, King Tommen has been one of the most underwhelming characters in "Game of Thrones" and according to spoilers, he will die in the finale.
Cersei Lannister's youngest son will jump from the Red Keep when Season 6 episode 10 airs but it isn't yet clear if he commits suicide because of the horror his mother will unleash.
King's Landing will be engulfed in wildfyre
The parallels between Cersei and the Mad King have reverberated throughout Season 6 plot. One popular fan theory has speculated that the Queen Mother will use the wildfyre hidden under the sept. Most of the city will be destroyed but that's not all, most of the deaths in the finale will occur in King's Landing, according to reddit user Truede.
Cersei will unleash The Mountain on the sept
The Queen Mother will not be happy after setting the city on fire. She will ask her devoted Westerosi knight, The Mountain, to attack some of the septons. He will kill Septa Unella, who, as fans remember tortured Cersei and Margaery Tyrell in Season 5 and 6.
Daenerys, Tyrion and Yara will journey to Westeros
Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) now has the ships, her dragons, her blood riders and her Unsullied. So why wouldn't she travel to Westeros? In fact, her journey to the seven kingdoms is hinted at in the promo for episode 10 as well. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) tells Daenerys, "You're in the great game now and the great game is terrifying."
Tyrion's statement ushers fear, joy, excitement and hope because finally, Danerys's dragons will enter a kingdom overwhelmed by the "Winds of Winter."
"Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 10 airs at 9 p.m. EST on Sunday, June 26, on HBO. You can live-stream the episode via HBO NOW or watch it later on HBO GO.
