So far the Warren family and the audience want to know if Adam (Liam James) is really who he says he is. After three episodes, the show will address this mystery in Season 1 episode 4 of the ABC Tv series, "The Family."
Adam, who disappeared as a kid, finally sat down with his parents for a TV interview in last week's episode. Claire Warren (Joan Allen) broke down mid-way through the interview and spoke about the issues that her family is still dealing with. Claire's emotional statement on the newness of her relationship with her son and the difficulties that ensue from it perhaps bolstered her campaign for governorship.
[Spoiler Alert]
If the show does reveal Adam's identity in episode 4, will it affect Claire's campaign? How will the family members react?
In an interview with Zap2It, executive producer David Hoberman said that Adam's identity will herald a different set of problems that the Warrens need to deal with.
According to the summary (via TV Guide), Hank (Andrew McCarthy), Claire and Bridey will somehow be involved in knowing more about Adam. Bridey (Floriana Lima) will try to seek more information on Adam and this make Willa (Alison Pill) curious about his agenda.
The summary also indicates that Adam's kidnapper will be arrested in the latest episode. In the promo, Adam is called in to identify his tormentor. He affirms that the man in police custody is his tormentor. It remains to be seen if the Warrens will be part of the kidnapper's trial.
"The Family" Season 1 Episode 4 airs Sunday, March 20, at 9 p.m. on ABC. You can live-stream the episode via ABC Go.
