Tottenham Hotspur will host Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of the round of 16 tie of the UEFA Europa League at the White Hart Lane, Thursday. The German club is leading by 3-0 from the first leg.
Mauricio Pochettino's men have a lot of catching up to do if they will want to make it to the quarter-final stage of the Europa League.
In the first leg, Marco Reus scored a brace and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored one to make the lead comfortable before they come to London for the second leg of this tie.
"Our mentality needs to be right. We need to show that last Thursday was an accident. For me sometimes it is difficult, but I accept the criticism," Pochettino was quoted as saying by the official website of the Spurs.
"If you win you are a genius, if not you are a disaster. It's important to keep everyone motivated. They are all important for me and I believe in all of them."
"Sometimes we rotate and sometimes maybe I have made mistakes. We analyse our decisions a lot and I always think we can do better."
Dortmund are aware that it is not going to be an easy game at the White Hart Lane when they will play in front of a crowd who will be right behind the home side.
The Spurs need nothing but three goals and then only they can think about progressing to the next round of the Europa League. Harry Kane, who has been in sublime form in front of the goal has scored more than 20 goals in all competitions this season and will be looking to help in his side's cause in this clash against Dortmund.
Dortmund skipper Mats Hummels is aware of the threat and he feels his side will have to carry on with the same form as they did in the first leg.
"We know that we will have to work hard again. And we know all about the quality that Tottenham have. Teams often play very differently at home than they do away", Hummels was quoted as saying by the official website of Dortmund.
"We know that we are clear favourites to make it through to the next round. We want to show that in the game, and preferably with a goal to quell any remaining doubt."
Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is aware of that the Spurs are a very good side when it comes to attacking.
"We are going up against a very dangerous team that is strong offensively, so we need to put in a top performance" Tuchel said.
