Last season's champions Chelsea will welcome the 2015-16 winners Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday for their final game of the EPL season. The game is special for the home team as they also bid adieu to manager Guus Hiddink, as Antonio Conte will take over the job next season.

Chelsea were expected to put up a major show after winning the EPL last season, but they were disappointing, spending much of their early season in the bottom half of the table. After Hiddink took over as manager from Jose Mourinho, the Blues looked better, and have since climbed to the ninth spot.

Chelsea players could not deliver at the start of the season, which led to their disappointing performance. However, they have started to click of late, which can be understood from their 1-1 draw against Liverpool in their last game.

One of their star players, Eden Hazard, has started to flourish after a season riddled with injuries.

"First of all it's important for him and Chelsea that he's almost back at the level he can play. He's enjoying it, which is also important when you have been in a difficult period, so that's good for the future," the official website of the Chelsea football club quoted Hiddink as saying.

"He's one of the key figures for Chelsea, not just him because that would be too much of a burden, but on top of a very well organised foundation he can be the man who makes a lot of difference in the game."

No one might have expected Chelsea to be poor, neither did fans expect a team like Leicester to win the EPL with such ease. It has been a fairy-tale season so far for the Foxes, with players like Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez playing a key role in the title win.

Vardy wants to sign off with a win against Chelsea.

"We just want to keep that winning mentality going," Leicester City official website quoted Vardy as saying in Foxes Player HD.

"The boss is right behind us with that. We want to go there, put a performance in and get the three points. If that means I get a goal or two on top then happy days, we'll see what happens at full time after the game."

Leicester City have lost only three games this season, and won 23, which is an incredible record for a team that struggled when Chelsea won the title the last time. They play an attractive brand of football, in great counter-attacking style, which has caught a number of top teams on the back foot.

Vardy, with his pace and finishing skills, have troubled EPL defenders. The English striker will be keen to show his skill one last time this season against Chelsea. Vardy has scored 24 goals while Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur has 25 to his name, which has made for an exciting finish for the golden boot. Vardy can still win the award, but needs to score goals against Chelsea.

Irrespective of how Leicester and Vardy finish the season, their EPL triumph will be remembered for years and years to come. It is one of the historic triumphs in world football.
