Although the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards is still a couple of months away, the time has arrived for fans to openly start rooting for their favourite actors, actresses and series.
The Emmy nominations for 2015, which will take into consideration the TV programs that aired from 1 June 2014 to 31 May 2015, will be announced on 16 July, 2015.
Held at 8.30 am (EST) on Thursday, 16 July, the nominations will be announced by Crazy Eyes from "Orange is the New Black" Uzo Aduba and the host of "So You Think You Can Dance" Cat Deeley. The event will be live-streamed by the Emmys and can be watched live at the Emmys Website.
Ahead of the announcements, here are our predictions for Emmy Nominations 2015. Vote for your favourite nominees:
Although "Man Men" has earned worldwide popularity, Hamm is yet to receive an Emmy and now, especially because this will be his last chance to get the honour as Don Draper, he deserves a win in the 2015 Emmys.
Taraji P Henson and Viola Davis, whose groundbreaking performances have widespread appeal, are no-brainers in this category. However, much like Jon Hamm, an Emmy honour is long overdue for Elizabeth Mozz for her role as Peggy Olsen on "Mad Men".
Although there are a few more actors who deserve to be nominated in the category, like Louis CK, Matt LeBlanc, William H Macy and Chris Pratt, this year "Last Man on Earth", has really blown out minds, and we feel the award should go SNL alum Will Forte.
This year, Amy Peohler who served her last term as proud Pawnian Leslie Knope should take home the Emmy, although many more talented actresses like Mindy Kaling and Lena Dunham deserve to be nominated in recognition of their excellent work.
