After one postponement, the trailer of Malayalam actor Dileep's upcoming movie "Welcome to Central Jail" was released on Monday, Aug. 29. The two-minute video, unveiled on the YouTube page of Vaishaka Cynyma, features the lead actors of the comedy entertainer.
The Sundar Das directorial, which is narrated in the backdrop of Poojapura Central Jail in Thiruvananthapuram, stars Vedhika opposite the Janapriyanayakan along with Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Siddique, Kalabhavan Hareesh, Sharafudheen, Kalabhavan Shajon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Thesni Khan, Veena Nair, Kottayam Pradeep, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Kailash and Guinness Pakru in key roles.
"Welcome to Central Jail" is the fifth movie of the filmmaker with Dileep after 13 years. The actor walks through Poojappura central jail after the 2004 film "Runway." The Dileep-starrer, which went on floors in Kochi on April 2, is being scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam on the incidents that happen in the life of a few prisoners.
The upcoming movie is scheduled to hit the screens as an Onam release in September locking horns with the big-budget films, including Mohanlal's "Oppam," Prithviraj Sukumaran's "Oozham," Kunchacko Boban's "Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho," Vineeth Sreenivasan's "Oru Muthassi Gadha" and Dhyan Sreenivasan's "Ore Mugham" at the Kerala box office.
