The second half of "Dance Moms" Season 6 is finally premiering on Lifetime. Although the dance reality show will not include Maddie Ziegler and her sister, Mackenzie, in Season 6B, the drama, anxieties and problems faced by ALDC members will remain the same. This will be evidenced in Season 6 episode 23 titled "Abby's New Beginning".
"Dance Moms" cast members Kendall Vertes and Kalani Hilliker once joked that they will finally get recognised by dance coach Abby Lee Miller after the Ziegler sisters' departure. And their desire to score appreciation will finally come true. In the Season 6B premiere of the TV series, Abby will try to make some changes in her team.
In many ways, she will experience a change of heart. The 49-year-old dance coach will focus on shining the spotlight on some members of the ALDC. And in Season 6 episode 23, it will be Brynn Rumfallo and Kendall's turn. The dancers will take part in a duet with two boys. According to Dance Moms spoiler website, Will Simmons and Yadiel Figueroa will join Brynn and Kendall.
To be sure, the show's cast members rarely take part in duets with boys and this rather unique experience will make Brynn uncomfortable. The spoiler website reported that Brynn will break down before and after the performance while her partner will be taken to the ER for "unknown reasons."
Although Brynn will not have a wonderful time competing at the Dream NDC competition in San Jose, other cast members will still be jealous of the 13-year-old dancer. The synopsis (via TV Guide) for Season 6 episode 23 indicates that Brynn's mother Ashlee Allen will "fume" when Jess accuses Abby of displaying favouritism.
Will the rest of the team sympathise with Brynn or will they turn against her? This remains to be seen.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 episode 23 airs at 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday, Sept. 6, on Lifetime. You can live-stream the episode via My Lifetime.
