Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, two of the most famous dancers on Lifetime's "Dance Moms," will perform their last. Season 6 episode 18 of the reality TV show, aptly titled "One Last Dance," will be emotional for many of the cast members, but one person who appears blasé is dance coach Abby Lee Miller.
In the latest instalment of "Dance Moms," Abby will resist from giving Maddie and Mackenzie a proper farewell party. Instead, the dance coach will make a mini compete against "The Book of Henry" star's solo.
Abby's dedication to the mini team will inspire dissent, leaving many moms wondering if the dance coach is even interested in the elite team. Furthermore, some of them will feel slighted that the star performers of the show aren't getting the farewell they deserve.
The cast members will encourage Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler's mother Melissa Gisoni to confront Abby about her differential treatment, but it is unlikely that she might discuss these issues.
In fact, Melissa looks unharmed by the bitterness and the tension in the promo for episode 18. She makes an emotional speech after her daughters perform their last dance routine as part of the show. She even thanks Abby for the support. Perhaps Melissa will not leave "Dance Moms" with a soured relationship.
In case you're wondering how Maddie's solo was received by the judges, then the "Dance Moms" spoiler site provides some answers. According to the website, the 13 year-old dance prodigy won the first place for her contemporary solo titled "The Hostage."
In addition to this, the cast's last group dance involving Maddie and Mackenzie, titled "Lady Bosses," also won the first place in the teen division and the first place overall.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 episode 18 airs at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime. You can live-stream the episode via My Lifetime.
