In "Dance Moms" Season 6 episode 17, titled "Mini Madness," Brynn Rumfallo performs a solo based on Maddie Ziegler's old dance routine, causing everyone to believe that dance coach Abby Lee Miller is unfair to Brynn.
Bryn is admittedly one of the up and coming dancers on the Lifetime TV show. However, cast members find it quite unfair that Brynn has to stamp her prowess and ability by performing a solo that's originally Maddie's.
So far, Maddie has been the no. 1 dancer in Abby's ALDC team, and most of the cast members feel that Brynn has little chance of bettering it. However, how do the moms feel?
Brynn's mother, Ashley, believes that her daughter can really shine only because Maddie looks odd while performing her own solo, which belongs to the musical theatre genre.
Maddie's mother, Melissa Gisoni, is a bit annoyed that her daughter has to perform a piece of choreography that's really simple. But she adds that Maddie is excellent in almost anything she performs. Perhaps she feels that her daughter, who is leaving the show soon, isn't being challenged by Abby.
In any case, the 13-year-old dancer seems to have little chance of outshining Brynn in episode 17. According to the "Dance Moms" spoiler site, Brynn was placed third in the pre-teen division whereas Maddie won the fourth place in the teen division. The website also pointed out that Brynn's costume resembled Maddie's "All God's Creatures" costume.
Other wins for ALDC included Mackenzie's solo, titled "Truth," Gavin's solo, titled "Luminous," among other prizes.
