Barcelona played a brilliant game against Villarreal in the first leg of the Copa Del Ray semifinals, as they won the clash easily with three goals to one.
Barca could have easily killed the game in the first leg itself, as they got a number of chances to score, but could only convert three, which is still decent. Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta and Gerard Piqué were on target for Barcelona during the game. Though Luis Suarez was impressive in the game, he failed to score.
But that is a thing of the past as they have to focus on the game in hand, which is the second leg of the semi-finals as the Catalans travel to Villarreal to grab a spot in the finals.
Though Villarreal might be playing at home and have looked in decent form, they are aware of the huge task that lies ahead of them.
Barcelona have also looked in good form of late as they defeated Manchester City in the Champions League and also won their La Liga clash against Granada. They are in perfect shape for the semis.
In the domestic competition as well, Barcelona are just two points away in the title race.
Barca's manager Luis Enrique wants to take advantage of their current form, as he said, "This is the perfect moment in terms of results and form. And let's hope we can turn that form into titles," reported BBC.
Though, Barca seems to have an upper hand in the second leg, Enrique is expected to start with his best possible line up. No one would like to tinker with a winning set of players after all.
"The aim is to win the match. That way there can be no surprises.
"It would be huge to score a goal. We won't be holding out for a draw. We'll take the game seriously and play our usual attacking football."
But Villarreal fans would want to stay positive for the game, for there are reasons to believe in their team as well. They are playing at home and also have an away goal, which could play an important role.
Villarreal would depend on Luciano Vietto, who has been one of the most impressive players at the club this season.
Villarreal needs to score early on if they are to put any pressure on Barcelona, but if Barcelona scores the first goal, the game will be put to bed.
If Barcelona reach the finals of the competition, the Catalans would be considered favourites to win the title, as they would play the winner of the other semi-final between Espanyol and Athletic Bilbao, which stands at 1-1 after the first leg.
