Barcelona's Lionel Messi celebrates after scoring a goal during their Copa Del Rey quarter-final first leg match against Atletico Madrid at the Nou CampReuters

Barcelona travel to the Spanish capital to take on Atletico Madrid in the second leg quarter-finals of the Copa Del Rey at the Vicente Calderon.

The Catalan-based club have been in good form of late as they are currently on a six match winning streak following their recent 6-0 win over Elche in the La Liga.

Also, all these victories have been very comprehensive as Barcelona have scored 23 and conceded only two goals in their last six games.

Keeping all this in mind and the fact that a draw would be sufficient to take the Catalans to the semi-finals of the Copa Del Rey (as they have already beaten Atletico Madrid in the first leg at the Nou Camp courtesy of a striker from Lionel Messi), Barcelona should be pretty confident ahead of their clash at the Vicente Calderon.

But Barcelona boss Luis Enrique insists that his side will not be taking anything for granted especially considering that they were eliminated by Atletico from the semi-finals of the Champions League last season.

"I remember the Champions League games between Barca and Atletico," Enrique told Barcelona's official website. "They will be much stronger in their own stadium, with their own fans behind them."

"Thinking you're the favourite is the first step towards defeat. We know how difficult this game will be and have no plans to speculate the result. We are going there to win. It would be a mistake to think there's a clear favourite."

Meanwhile, Atletico will also be fancying their chances of beating Barcelona and reaching the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey despite them not having a very good record against the Catalans this season.

The Los Rojiblancos, who managed to beat Barcelona on a number of occasions last season, have not been able to repeat the same feat this time around, having already lost two games against them in the La Liga and Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg respectively.

However, Atletico have a little advantage in this fixture as the game is being played in their home ground.

And Atletico boss Diego Simeone is confident that they will be able to do well against the Catalans if they "play each minute as if it were the last of the match."

"We must play each minute as if it were the last of the match. If we play every minute from the first to the 95th or if there are even more, we need to play them like that," Simeone told Atletico's official website.

Although Atletico have had a difficult journey in the Copa del Rey so far this season, being drawn against Real Madrid in the round of sixteen, and Barcelona in the quarter-finals, Simeone says that he is not complaining, insisting that his side are themselves improving by playing against the best.

"Coming up against Real Madrid and then Barcelona in the Cup is really good for me because the only thing that makes you a better as a team is to play against the best and try to measure up to them even if it is difficult. I welcome playing against the best because it makes you better yourself. I hope tomorrow [Wednesday] we can make that leap in quality."
