Argentina will lock horns with Paraguay in the second semi-final of the Copa America 2015 at the Estadio Municipal Alcaldesa Ester Roa Rebolledo on 30 June.
Gerardo Martino's men have not played out of their skin so far in this tournament, but have still managed to reach the semi-final of the Copa America 2015.
Surprisingly, after their first match of the tournament against Paraguay, they have not conceded a single goal and there lies their strength.
Lionel Messi, who is an incredible asset in the Argentina squad, has not performed to his standards in this tournament after having a wonderful season with Barcelona.
Angel Di Maria, Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez have important roles to play in tonight's match against Paraguay.
Earlier in the group stages, when these two sides met, the game ended in a draw as Argentina failed to retain their lead; two late strikes from Paraguay helped them secure a draw.
"I would have preferred not to have played Paraguay. We have a lot of things in common, there are a lot of feelings. I worked there for a long time, we started and finished a process... the World Cup, the Copa América. There is a very close relationship. I trained many of those players and they helped me grow as a coach. They had a big infuence in my career," Argentina head coach Gerardo Martino told reporters at a press conference.
Meanwhile, Ramon Diaz's men remain unbeaten in this tournament just like La Albiceleste. Diaz is hopeful that his side has the capability to stun tournament favourites and make it to the big final against Chile.
"They have the best player in the world: Messi," Díaz said of Argentina, ahead of their semi-final meeting on Tuesday.
"They are the best team in the world, but it will be a difficult match for both teams. Sometimes, when teams are favourites, it is hard for them in these type of matches. We have learned that we cannot go out and close up at the back against Argentina. We have to go out and play. This will be different. We know that if we make mistakes, we could miss out on the final.
"We are evaluating everything we have done in this Copa América. For us it's an important test: of character, of determination. We know what we want, we know how we want to play, we know who we are up against. But I have great belief in this team. We have experienced players and for me, we are going to play a great game," Diaz told reporters ahead of their clash against Argentina.
Expected Lineups:
Argentina: Romero; Zabaleta, Garay, Otamendi, Rojo; Pastore, Mascherano, Biglia; Messi, Aguero, Di Maria.
Paraguay: Villar; Piris, Aguilar, Da Silva, B Valdez; Gonzalez, Benitez, Caceres, Aranda; Santa Cruz, N Valdez.
