Mexico will take on Ecuador in a Group A encounter of the Copa America 2015 at Estadio El Teniente in Chile on Friday, 19 June.

This is a must-win game for Mexico. They are coming into their final fixture against Ecuador after two consecutive draws, one against Chile and the other against Bolivia. Currently, Mexico are placed third in the table behind Bolivia and Chile. If they would want to make it to the quarter final stages, they will have to win this game against Ecuador.

On the other hand, Ecuador are already out of Copa America 2015 after their two straight defeats in the hands of host nation Chile and then against Bolivia. They will be simply playing for pride and nothing else and try and spoil Mexico's chances of qualifying for the knockout stages.

"Mexico has not lost so far and we have lost two matches. The Mexicans are a very organised team that does well in attack so we will have to take advantage of the spaces that they leave us. I think it the performance against Chile shows our team is here for an important competition. Now we have the last game of the group against Ecuador, where we will give everything to win so that we can advance to the next stage," said the West Ham United striker Enner Valencia to the reporters at a press conference.

On the other hand, the most experienced player of Mexico, Rafael Marquez, has suffered an injury during their first game against Bolivia. Marquez limped off the field during that game and has not recovered yet to feature against Ecuador. Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera said that Marquez will not be featuring against Ecuador as he is yet to recover. Left Chispa Velarde is also doubtful for their final group league fixture.

"We still don't know if it's Chispa who will play or if we'll line up another way. We're still a bit tired from the match against Chile, so we weren't able to work too well. We'll figure out if Chispa can play or if we'll bring in a midfielder and use a line of four," Herrera told the media ahead of their must-win clash against Ecuador.

Expected Line-ups:

Mexico: Corona, Ayala, Valenzuela, Dominguez; Aldrete, Flores, Guemez, Medina, Tecatito, Vuoso, Jimenez.

Ecuador: Dominguez, Paredes, Achillier, Erazo, Ayovi, Ibarra, Cazares, Martinez, Bolanos, Montero, Valencia.
