The trailer of the most-awaited and much-hyped film "Chennai Express" starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has been finally released.
Shah Rukh posted the video link on his Twitter page with a post: "here's hoping it entertains all of u. Thanx on behalf of the express team for the excitement."
The film, which is a complete family entertainer, is about a 40-year-old man named Rahul (played by Shah Rukh) from Mumbai who goes on a vacation to Rameshwaram and the incidents which take place during his journey.
The two-minute, 35-second video starts with a train scene and SRK's voiceover. The trailer also shows the famous "DDLJ" scene, wherein Deepika is rushing to board the train (Chennai Express) and Shah Rukh trying to pull her on board.
Deepika, who plays the role of a Tamil girl Priya, is really funny in her Tamil accent.
The trailer shows how Rahul's life changes when he meets Priya and gets chased by a few goons, who are apparently Priya's relatives. The action comedy also features Sathyaraj, who plays the role of Deepika's father and a very deadly don in South.
The film, produced by Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment, seems to be a complete package of romance, comedy and action in Rohit Shetty's style.
Within 30 minutes of its release, the "Chennai Express" trailer has gone viral on YouTube with more than 4000 likes.
