Tottenham Hotspur host Nottingham Forest at White Hart Lane in the third round of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.
Spurs had got to a good start to the Premier League season, winning their first two matches, but lost steam soon after, managing just one point from the next three fixtures. Mauricio Pochettino's men are now low on confidence, after suffering their second consecutive home defeat in the league at the weekend against West Bromwich Albion.
The north London club is now without a win in their last four matches, and will be keen to get their season back on track against the Reds tonight when they start their League Cup campaign at the Lane.
Meanwhile, Forest have had a stellar start to the domestic season, and are currently atop the Championship table, with 18 points from eight matches. The Reds have won five of their last seven games in all competitions, though they enter this tie after enduring a goalless draw against Millwall.
Striker Britt Assombalonga has been sensational so far, scoring eight goals from seven league matches. And the 21-year-old, a club record summer signing from Peterborough United, will be once again be the spearhead of the Reds' attack.
