"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 3 premiered 3 episodes ago, and there is still no hint as to how Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) will take back his rightful post as the Captain of the 99th Precinct. This however might change with the upcoming Episode 4, "The Oolong Slayer".

In the Season 3 Episode 4 of "Brooklyn Nine Nine" we will see Jake (Andy Samberg) enlisting the help of his old captain to investigate a serial killer. He wants to catch "The Oolong Slayer" without raising anyone's suspicions, which is why they meet each other in private.

Before the premiere of Season 3, we had seen a clip in which Jake and Holt meet in private and they repeat a routine from Season 1 Episode 1. Captain Holt shows two photos and asks Jake to identify which of the two is his desk, and which is a garbage pile. It then turns out both are photos of his desk.

In the promo for the coming episode we see the two of them conspiring the men's bathroom of the NYPD PR office. Although they tried to be discreet, Gina (Chelsea Peretti) overhears them because apparently he likes hanging out in the men's bathroom.

If the murder is solved could the 99th precinct pull a few strings and bring Captain Holt back?

We have a strong feeling that might happen, because according to the synopsis for the upcoming Halloween episode, "Jake and Holt split the squad into two teams to help them" in the annual Halloween heist, which will once and for all determine which of them is "amazing detective slash genius".

But the question is will Amy (‎Melissa Fumero) choose to be with Jake or Holt? We all know she will do anything to please the Captain, but she is also dating Jake.
