Season 3 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" has been a little slow in picking pace with respect to the Jake and Amy storyline, and it looks like the upcoming Episode 3 is also going to do everything to distract viewers from the primary couple of the show.
This season is trying very hard to focus on other members of the 99th precinct, and seemingly the spotlight will follow Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) in "Boyle's Hunch". In a promo clip for the Episode, we see Boyle and Jake (Andy Samberg) behind a screen, speaking to a woman in an orange prison jumpsuit, and the former asks if she is wondering whether he was circumcised.
It is also understood that Boyle will find his soul-mate in Genevieve (Mary Lynn Rajskub), an art-gallery owner, and with the intention of doing all he can to help his best friend Jake is trying to set them up. Could Genevieve also be a criminal that is locked up and trying to break out with the help of two cops?
In the coming episode, we will also see a new member joining the Brooklyn Nine-Nine – Jake Jr aka Spidey Klum aka Mrs Doubtspider aka Joe Spiden aka Tarantula Basset aka Spi-dermot Mulroney – a tarantula who Jake has adopted as his new partner. We will also see Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) trying to arrest Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker) Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) for farting and Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) recruiting Amy (Melissa Fumero) to help with an image campaign.
