The Season 1 finale of Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After will air on Tuesday, November 29, and the episode titled What Happens in Vegas will see them travelling to Las Vegas to celebrate their bachelor and bachelorette parties.
It is surprising that the duo is still going ahead with their bachelor and bachelorette parties as Ben Higgins called off their wedding in one of the earlier episodes. His fiancée Lauren Bushnell wanted to fast-track the wedding, but Ben was having cold feet and he wanted to take time before they entered into a long-term commitment.
However, plot rumours indicate that the couple will re-evaluate their relationship when they are in Las Vegas. Will Season 1 end with Ben and Lauren getting hitched in Las Vegas? Sadly, a wedding is not in the near future, as Ben wants to take things slow. But the former The Bachelor star revealed to People recently that their relationship is in a much better place.
"We are building a foundation and we're taking every day one step at a time. That's what I'm excited about," said Ben.
Added Bushnell: "We weren't ready to jump into a wedding. And we both needed to take a step back from life in the limelight. Me understanding a little bit more of where Ben's heart is was so important and exactly what we needed."
And for the record, Higgins said he still wanted to marry his fiancée. "Our relationship is better now than it has ever been."
The synopsis for Season 1 episode 8 reads: "In the first-season finale, Ben and Lauren travel to Las Vegas for their bachelor and bachelorette parties, but a surprise from their friends leads them to re-evaluate their relationship."
Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on Freeform.
