The Bangladesh Premier League 2016 has already been an exciting one, with some teams winning hands down, while some registering close victories. The trend is expected to continue further in the BPL, which comprises some quality teams in the competition.
Two matches are set to be played on Friday, and here is a look at both the fixtures, one by one.
Comilla Victorians vs Barisal Bulls
Defending champions Victorians might have learned a lesson or two from their opening match loss to Chittagong Vikings. There is a serious need for an all-round improvement, with bowlers taking wickets, bowling tight line and length, and their batsmen also have to contribute after they get their eye in.

Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza will hope to lift his team from the loss, but he will need strong support from players like Sohail Tanvir, Imad Wasim, Imrul Kayes and Marlon Samuels against the Bulls to script their first win of the season.
The Bulls, like Victorians, are searching for their first win of the BPL after suffering a loss to favourites Dhaka Dynamites. Despite the loss, there were plenty of takeways from the match including the performance of their batsmen Musshfiqur Rahim, who scored a half-century. With Victorians desperate to win, it is the Bulls' bowlers, who need to shine for victory. Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera, who is one of their big foreign names, will have to deliver with both the bat and ball.
Dhaka Dynamites vs Rajshahi Kings
Dhaka Dynamites are going to be the team to watch in BPL 2016 with a number of incredible players in the competition. Dhaka got off to a terrific start, winning the first match in style. Dhaka chased the required target of 148 runs against the Bulls in 16 overs, which was an incredible effort.
The Dynamites will hope to see another solid performance from their players. With players like Kumar Sangakkara, Ravi Bopara, Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo, they have all-rounders, who can deliver with both the bat and ball. They are favourites to defeat Kings, who lost in their opening encounter against Khulna Titans.
The Kings might have lost the opening encounter by just three runs, but in such formats, experienced players should shoulder responsibility. Umar Akmal, in the middle order, has to lead the team, batting wise, and make sure that players like Darren Sammy and Samit Patel can play pressure free cricket to give them a chance to defeat title favourites Dynamites.
