This week's instalment of "Asia's Next Top Model" begins with the top six contestants who have to take part in more gruelling challenges. Suffice it to say that Cycle 4 episode 9 is a very wet episode, dripping with anxiety and anger.
The theme of wetness resounds in the challenges set for this week. The top six are introduced to their first task for episode 9, in which they have to sweat it out.
It isn't yet clear how the models will be scored in the Fit for Fashion challenge, but the promo indicates that Sang In from South Korea and Tawan from Thailand have managed to impress the judges with how fit they are.
Elsewhere in the episode, the contestants take part in an editorial photoshoot which requires them to maintain their poise while cold water is splashed over their face. This new version of the ice bucket challenge paralyzes some of the models.
Angie and Tuti in particular are seen shivering, while an angry Yu Tsai barks, "Do you want to quit?" Fortunately, the contestants' frozen expressions hide their fear and anxiety. It remains to be seen if one of them will be eliminated from episode 9.
Tuti seems like the most probable candidate for elimination because she's already in the bottom two with a score of 29. Several fans on the show's Facebook page have even speculated that the contestant from Malaysia is probably on her way out. However, this isn't yet confirmed.
At the moment, Patricia seems to be leading with a score of 46. Next in the ranks table is Angie with 45.5 and Tawan has taken the third place with a total score of 42.3. Will Sang In crawl her way back to the top or will Patricia remain the reigning queen.
