Season 4 episode 17 of "Arrow" will see the return of a powerful and smart super-villain from "The Flash," named the Bug-Eyed Bandit (Emily Kinney). Although her arrival will spell danger for the people of Star City, she may end up reuniting Olicity.
Brie Larvan, who was named Bug-Eyed Bandit by Cisco (Carlos Valdes), has escaped her prison and has some to Star City to steal the bio-chip implanted by Curtis (Echo Kellum) in Felicity's (Emili Bett Rickards) spine. However, Felicity refuses to give it to Larvan and gets trapped in Palmer Tech along with her mother. Thea (Willa Holland), who possibly goes there to save her almost sister-in-law, also gets locked in with them.
From the promo, it looks like Oliver (Stephen Amell) gets stung by one of Larson's robotic bees. To make matters worse, the bee, which lodges itself inside Oliver's body, can multiply and slowly kill him from inside. The official synopsis for the episode, titled "Beacon of Hope," suggests this will force Oliver to turn towards an unlikely ally for help.

Considering the matter is more urgent than waiting for anyone from Team Flash to travel all the way from Central City, it looks like the unlikely ally will be Curtis. Although the Palmer Tech employee knows Felicity works closely with the Green Arrow, he does not know Oliver is the hooded vigilante.
However, he has helped Team Arrow in the past, especially in Ray's (Brandon Routh) rescue mission in Season 4 episode 6. Fans also know Curtis is on the journey towards becoming the superhero Mr Terrific and this could probably be the first step towards that.
Meanwhile, there is also hope for a reunion of Olicity in the upcoming episode. As viewers will remember, Felicity had asked Oliver to give her some space following their fake wedding in "Broken Hearts." She also stopped working with Team Arrow to that end. However, the return of a tech-savvy meta-human will remind Felicity she is irreplaceable in the team.
