"Arrow" season 4 was pegged to be one of the lighter seasons of the series. However, apart from the funnier initial episodes featuring Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) relationship, it has been as dark as ever, considering Felicity is now in a wheelchair and someone close to Team Arrow will die. The upcoming season 4 episode 11 "A.W.O.L" will focus on Felicity and how she learns to deal with her spinal injury.
In the promo for the upcoming episode, Felicity is seen trying to avoid working for Team Arrow and is even tells Oliver that she may not want to return ever. While the team struggles to work without Felicity's voice guiding them, the computer genius will be seen hallucinating and even interacting with her old Gothic self.
Many fans believe that Felicity may be hallucinating in the scene where she tells Oliver, "I can no longer be a part of the team," because it looks like she is standing up. In the episode, fans will get to see Felicity reliving the most pivotal moments in her life and wondering if she made the right choices.

Meanwhile, the previously aired "Blood Debts" confirmed that Felicity will not die in season 4. However, the person that will die would be someone very close to her, as she asks Oliver to take revenge for the death.
A popular theory among fans currently is that Laurel (Katie Cassidy) may be the one heading to the grave. Her death would warranty Oliver returning to his old self and killing people to avenge the death. It would also be the right kind of incentive for Felicity to push Oliver in that direction, especially since Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and Mama Smoak (Charlotte Ross) are dating, making Laurel and Felicity almost sisters.
The previous theory that Captain Lance may be in the grave does not make much sense anymore, because his death would not be incentive enough for Oliver to go on a killing spree or Felicity to demand that of him. The episode will also see Diggle (David Ramsey) learning more about what his brother did during wartime and him starting to trust Andy (Eugene Byrd).
The fans also have the return of Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) to look forward to, which is set to happen in season 4 episode 12 "Unchained".
