Comedy Central's "Another Period," which is basically a hybrid of the reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and the drama "Downton Abbey," is premiering Season 2 on Wednesday, June 15. The spoilt and rotten Bellacourt sisters, played by the incomparable Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome, will return with unimaginably horrible shortcuts to attaining popularity.
"Another Period" is a historic show, if you ignore that fact that it is factually incorrect. This season begins with the introduction of a fictional Harriet Tubman, who Lillian and Beatrice befriend. However, unlike the real-life Tubman who was an abolitionist and humanitarian, the "Another Period" version is more focused on popularity and celebrity.
According the official synopsis for Season 2 episode 1 of "Another Period," it is understood that Tubman will be providing the Bellacourt sisters tutelage on how to become famous. Meanwhile, their father's mistress Chair (Christina Hendricks) will give birth to baby named Kermit. And in the servant world, Peepers (Michael Ian Black) hires a new servant.
