Footage has gone online of a man dragging a shark from the sea in order to get a selfie with it. The brutal incident, which occurred on Palm Beach in Florida, was filmed by WPTV journalist Ashleigh Walters. The treatment of the shark comes just days after a baby dolphin died near Buenos Aires in Argentina after being paraded around a beach for tourists to get photos with.
In this new video, which Walters uploaded to Facebook, the man can be seen struggling with the shark to pull it further up the beach away from the water. The shark tries to fight him off before being held down on the beach for pictures. Eventually the animal was put back in the sea, but did not resurface for several minutes, according to Walters.
