Contrary to what director Deepak Tijori said earlier, Kajal Aggarwal revealed that her kiss with Randeep Hooda in "Do Lafzon Ki Kahani" was very much scripted and she was well informed about it.
"There was nothing spontaneous about the scene. Nobody can kiss somebody randomly during a shoot. We are all professionals. It was a scripted scene and very essential to the story. I play a visually impaired girl and for her to express love or intimacy, obviously there needs some form of physical connect," the Deccan Chronicle quoted Kajal as saying.
"Yes, I did have my hesitations and I feel the same otherwise as well. For most of my films down South, I usually cheat my kisses or it's not a full-on liplock," the actress added.
Deepak had earlier said that Kajal was not informed about the kiss and it was not in the script as well but Randeep had apparently got carried away during a romantic scene. The director also said that this was Kajal's first onscreen kissing, however, the actress had locked lips in three other Telugu movies as well.
"I do remember Kajal had told me that she does not do kissing scenes on screen, as she is a huge South Indian movie star, and this would impact her career in South movies. But let me tell you, there was no intention to malign her image or kiss her without her knowledge. It was the emotional moment between two lovers as per the script, and I generally prefer actors doing scenes impromptu. So, Randeep followed the emotional quotient of the scene," Deepak had told the Daily News Analysis earlier.
