Fans of AMC's zombie apocalypse drama "The Walking Dead" will have to wait till October to find out who was killed by Negan in the Season 6 finale of the show. But one character who supposedly survived the wrath of the baseball bat swinging villain is Abraham, the character essayed by Michael Cudlitz.
In "The Walking Dead" comics, Glenn is the one who gets killed by Negan. But according to spoiler forum The Spoiling Dead Fans, the television show had taken a different route and decided to kill two characters instead of one. While the first victim is definitely Glenn, the spoiler forum believed Abraham too was unlucky.
But based on an interview Cudlitz gave to PopSugar, his character could very well be alive. While talking about the death of Denise in the previous season, Cudlitz, who is a fan of the comics too, said that he was a bit relieved when Denise died the exact way Abraham did in the comics.
"Her death spurs on a whole bunch of other stuff, and then the audience knows that Abraham will continue for a while now," Cudlitz said. "Now we get to see what a world with Negan and Abraham both in it will be like. That's something we don't see in the graphic novels. So a lot of cool stuff happens. For me, knowing that his potential death had come and gone, it was a moment to go, 'Oh cool, they really aren't going to stick with what the graphic novel does.' As a fan of both the novel and the show, it was cool."
"The Walking Dead" is currently filming the second half of Season 7 and they have completed nine episodes so far, according to The Spoiling Dead Fans. If their information is correct, then both Glenn and Abraham haven't been spotted on set ever since the first episode wrapped up filming.
