"The Walking Dead" is currently filming season 6, and has cast actor Corey Hawkins as Alexandria Safe-Zone resident Heath.
Season 5 of the zombie apocalypse ended with events similar to those featured in issue 79 of the comic book series that serves as the source material for the AMC drama. The season ended with Morgan reuniting with Rick, and based on spoilers, the upcoming season is going to showcase how Morgan's introduction is going to affect the dynamics in Rick's group.
As for Heath -- the character that was first introduced in issue 69 of the "The Walking Dead" comic series – he is expected to be a supply runner who becomes friends with Glenn. He will also become a crucial member of the gang as they head out to meet the notorious Negan.
Although Heath is still alive in the comics, it is not sure what will happen to the character in the television drama, as the series has not always mirrored the comics.
As for what else to expect from the coming season, which will premiere in October, fans can expect to see Alexandria Safe-Zone being attacked by Wolves, a group based on The Scavenges.
Talking about the new foes, Norman Reedus told The Hollywood Reporter that they are very different from the previous threats the group faced.
"Terminus did horrible things behind the wall; they were a wimpy and in a cowardly way tricked people to going there, and then they did their evil business behind their walls. These guys are roamers, and they seem like a whole bunch of Daryls gone south, who have gone really bad and turned into wolves. They're probably on the move; I don't think they're afraid to butcher people right out in the open. They seem different than Terminus; Terminus was more cowardly. They would trick you into coming to Disneyland and then eat you," Reedus said.
"The Walking Dead" season 6 premieres in October.
