"The Walking Dead" Season 6 is finally just a week away from making a comeback for its second half. AMC's zombie drama went on a long midseason break after airing Episode 8, "Start to Finish", on 29 November, 2015. The AMC has not only confirmed the midseason premiere date, but have also released an official synopsis which leaves fans speculating about "fatal consequences". The fans can expect to watch Episode 9, titled "No Way Out" on 14 February, 2016.
The midseason finale ended on a very exciting note with lives of most of our favourite characters at stake. While Alexandria was invaded by a horde of walkers, Rick, Michonne, Carl, Fr. Gabriel and Deanna, on the other hand, found themselves trapped in Jessie's house and discovered that Deanna had been bitten.
Though the overall episode wasn't that exciting, the post-credit scene closed to the biggest teaser. The end of "Start to Finish" hinted the return of Negan. The scene shows that Daryl, Abraham and Sasha getting captured by the armed group of Saviors and the man heading the group tells the three of them that all of their possessions now belong to Negan.
Speculations about the midseason premiere have been running wild for the last couple of weeks, especially after "The Walking Dead" writer Robert Kirkman teased that a lot of people will die in Season 6's Episode 9 and it could be a fan-favourite character.
And now, the official synopsis too has hinted at "fatal consequences," so stakes are really running high on everyone's favourite Daryl Dixon. Maybe or maybe not. Norman Reedus too remained coy about the details of the upcoming episode in his recent interview, but teased that there will be a lot of fight and turmoil.
So, will Negan kill Glenn (like in the comics) or Daryl? The midseason premiere will give the answer.
Official synopsis of "No Way Out" reads: "While trying to escape Alexandria, Rick and his group meet trouble when sudden noise draws walkers towards them with what could be fatal consequences."
