The last time "The Walking Dead" gave fans a peek into what was happening with Abraham, Daryl and Sasha, the trio was seen trying to divert the horde of walkers away from Alexandria Safe-Zone.
There hasn't been any word from them since then, and Rick's attempt to contact them in Sunday's episode entitled "Now" was unsuccessful.
Rick also has no clue about what happened with Glenn. Although he remained hopeful of Glenn returning to the Safe-Zone, none of the Alexandrians seem to share his optimism. They were seen writing Glenn's name in the "in memoriam" section of the interior wall of the Safe-Zone.
However, Maggie wasn't yet ready to give up hope. The episode saw Maggie and Aaron going on a fruitless search for Glenn, and once she reaches the end of the zombie-infested sewer she drops the bombshell that she is pregnant.
Maggie doesn't want to continue and put her unborn child in harm's way, but at the same time, she hasn't given up hope.
Fans might possibly get answers to the Glenn mystery in the next episode of the zombie apocalypse drama. The official synopsis of the episode entitled "Always Accountable" doesn't reveal much other than that "Daryl, Abraham and Sasha encounter many obstacles and a new threat while trying to return to Alexandria."
But showrunner Scott Gimple teased in an earlier interview that the show wasn't yet done with Glenn, the character essayed by Steven Yeun.
"In some way we will see Glenn — some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn — again. Either in flashback or the current story to help complete the story," Gimple wrote in to "Talking Dead."
However, a section of fans have accepted the fact that Glenn could be gone for good, as actor Yeun's name was missing from the show's opening credits for the second week in a row.
"The Walking Dead" is aired Sundays on AMC.
