The Alexandria Safe-Zone was formally introduced in the previous episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead," giving Rick and gang a safe place to rest and regain their strengths.
The Alexandria Safe-Zone, a walled self-sustained community, will give Rick and his gang of survivors a chance to return to normal life, and the next episode titled "Forget" will see them "continue to acclimate to their new surroundings."
But danger isn't far behind. Actor Andrew Lincoln, who essays the role of Rick, hinted in a recent interview that Negan, one of the most notorious villains featured in "The Walking Dead" comic book series, might soon make an appearance.
"There are astonishingly brilliant and thrilling characters that I am convinced we would be idiots not to meet in our journey; I would be very surprised if we don't see Negan on the horizon in the not-too-distant future," Lincoln told The Hollywood Reporter.
However, there has been no official comment on when Negan, the leader of a group called Saviors, who uses violence to intimidate other colonies, would be introduced. But one thing that would follow Negan's introduction is more deaths, and there are possibilities that one member from Rick's gang would be killed.
If the series follows the comics closely, fans will see Rick and gang in a bloody battle with Negan, following which the leader of the Saviors capture Rick, Carl, Glenn, Maggie and Sophia among others. Shortly, the group will be introduced to the wooden baseball wrapped in barbed wire called Lucille, with which Negan will beat Glenn to death.
Despite the possibility of this shocking death, fans are excited to see Negan possibly making an appearance this season.

With how Walking Dead is paced, I'd guess they'll tease Negan in the last episode then take all next season to introduce Hilltop colony
