The midseason finale of "The Walking Dead" season 5 is fast approaching, and AMC has released an official synopsis of the last episode that will air in November before the series takes a hiatus.
Episode 8 of the season is titled "Coda," and it will air on 30 November, after which the series will take a hiatus of over two months before episode 9 airs on 8 February 2015.
The midseason finale episode is expected to end Beth's separate storyline, and although the official synopsis does not give a lot of clues, it's a given that violence is going to be a highlight. "New enemies disregard rules and morals; although Rick wants to find a peaceful agreement, the enemies seem to prefer a more violent resolution," reads the synopsis.
Not surprisingly, fans believe that the midseason finale will see the death of a major character, and all the evidence points towards Beth. The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page posted that in August Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson) was spotted on the sets when the cast was reportedly filming the midseason finale, and his presence, many believe, might have something to do with Beth's death.
"It's known that past actors often visit the set. Even for deaths," The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page posted, adding: "Scott Wilson was reported and confirmed by sources and multiple people on the ground as being at the hospital location August 6th. The one and only time Scott has been spotted this season just happens to be the MSF, the same location his tv daughter had been filming. If Scott were to show up for a death scene, you would think it would have to be for either one of his "daughters" or one of the originals."
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode is titled "Self Help," and after last week's Beth centric storyline, this week the focus will be on Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Tara (Alanna Masterson) as they continue on the journey to Washington, DC to find information on how to end the zombie apocalypse.
The episode airs on 9 November on AMC.
