Season 5 finale of AMC's "The Walking Dead" will surely be one to remember, and although there isn't much info on what to expect in "Conquer," spoilers have been hinting at the death of a main character.
According to Gold Derby, odds are that either Glenn or Carol might not make it past the finale as both of them are tied with 11/2 odds of dying.
Season 5 has been an evolution for Carol that saw her rescuing her friends from Terminus and teaming up with Daryl on a mission to save Beth. And because she was such a strong force in the season, many believe her death could be devastating.
Earlier on in the season, there were rumours that Glenn could die, and chances are high that this prediction could come true this Sunday.
But fans believe other characters such as Abraham, Maggie and Daryl are also not safe.
Based on the official synopsis of the episode, Daryl is a strong possibility, as it states Daryl will experience trouble on a run. But the promo shows Glenn crying, sparking speculation that Maggie might be in danger. Because the scene takes place at night, it is not immediately clear to viewers whether Glenn is reacting to someone's death or if he is killing someone.
The Spoiling Dead Fans has some info regarding the scene. Here's what the spoiler forum wrote: "In one of the promos, Glenn is seen almost crying through gritted teeth. We can confirm that Glenn is actually pointing a gun to Nicholas' head.
"We can also confirm that Nicholas shoots Glenn in the shoulder. Glenn almost kills him, but instead he spares his life. Later Glenn is seen helping Nicholas walk," the post read.
"The Walking Dead" season 5 finale airs on Sunday, 29 March at 9 p.m. on AMC. Here's the official synopsis of the episode: "Daryl experiences trouble on a run while Rick and his group continue to feel like outsiders in Alexandria, where trouble is creeping into the gates."
