The mid-season finale of "The Walking Dead" is just a week away and Sunday's episode of "Crossed" aptly tied up a few loose ends and showed viewers what all four groups of survivors were up to.
The synopsis of "Coda," the mid-season finale episode, does not reveal much about what's in store for the characters other than to note that "new enemies disregard rules and morals; although Rick wants to find a peaceful agreement, the enemies seem to prefer a more violent resolution."
The mid-season finale is expected to result in the death of a key character, and if speculations are right then Beth is the target. Multiple sources believe that Emily Kinney's character will be killed, and a Twitter user recently claimed that he squeezed some spoilers out of his cousin, who is a cameraman on the show, according to The Epoch Times.
"He correctly told me what happened to Bob before the season started so he is legit. He told me that Beth dies in the midseason finale and that Rick and co. find her as walker eating the person who is in charge of the hospital.
"They are all devastated and Maggie is the one who puts her down," the user said.
The episode is expected to end on a cliffhanger with either Beth turning into a walker, or Beth dying after turning into a walker.
However, the Spoiling Dead Fans refuted these rumours stating: "No one finds Beth as a walker. There is a 'standoff' of sorts. Beth has the choice to leave and has a moment of gumption (or weakness, depending on how you look at it) that leads to her demise. Beth ends up believing that the choice she makes is a necessity in the end. But Beth doesn't envision things ending the way they do."
"The Walking Dead" Season 5 Episode 8 will air on Sunday, 30 November, and will return on 8 February with eight more episodes.
