The legend of Voltron is all set to hit the small screens across the world this month when Dreamworks' "Voltron Legendary Defender" animated series will be streamed on Netflix. The series has re-imagined by the team behind some of the other iconic animated series like "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "The Legend of Korra."
According to Nerdist, in the latest preview of the series, Keith, Lance, Pidge, Hunk, and Shiro can be seen, as they come across the resting place of the Blue Lion; one of the five robot lions that include Voltron himself. In this series, Shiro is no more known as Sven.
According to the website, Netflix has released four pictures from the series that includes one of Blue Lion's resting place and in another one, other heroes can be seen standing beside the gigantic Blue Lion. In the third one, all five space explorers can be seen and last one features all the five robot lions united at last.
In this version of the story, the Black Lion is much larger than the other lions and the Red and Green Lions are significantly smaller in size. Red and Green lions act as Votlron's arms while Yellow and Blue lions transform into Voltron's legs. According to the popular tradition of previous Voltron stories, whoever operated the Black Lion will have to shout "And I will form the head!"
Dreamworks' "Voltron" will premiere on Netflix on June 10 with an hour-long story and ten episodes.
