Volkswagen India has silently launched its new 2015 updated Polo in the country.
The company has updated the newly added features on the official website of Volkswagen. The features include cooled glove box, cruise control and electrically foldable ORVMs. The same features are also offered in the Polo GT TSI and GT TDI variants.
Besides the added features, Polo is offered in both petrol and diesel engines in the auto market.
While the petrol model of Polo facelift is powered by 1.2-litre MPI engine that can churn out a power of 75 PS @ 5,400 rpm and a torque of 110 Nm @ 3,750 rpm, the diesel variant comes with 1.5-litre diesel powertrain that can generate 90 PS @ 4,200 rpm and 230 Nm of torque at 1,500-2,500 rpm. With 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine generates 103PS and 175Nm of torque.
As of now, we are not sure if there is any change in the current price tag; however, various reports suggest that with the new features, the prices of various variants of Polo are also likely to go up by Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000.
