Competition is getting tougher with "The Voice" Season 7 approaching the final weeks. The number of contestants has been narrowed down from 48 to just eight last week after two more contestants were sent home.
The remaining top eight contestants, who survive the competition last week, will once again perform live for America's vote in the Live Shows Week 4 on Monday. The audience will decide their fate in the competition based on their performance in tonight's performance.
Blake Shelton has only one contestant left in the competition, while Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams have two each and Adam Levine has all the three intact.
Last week, Craig Wayne Boyd, the lone contestant in Team Blake, was saved by America based on his rendition of the song, "I Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash.
Team Adam: Matt McAndrew sang the song, "Fix You" by Coldplay, Damien rendered "You and I" by Stevie Wonder, and Chris Jamison took on the song, "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars last week, winning the hearts of the public.
Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams sang the song, "Come Together" by The Beatles last week, and Ryan Sill was saved by the audience for his rendition of "Collide" by Howie Day after being placed in the bottom three.
Team Pharrell: Luke Wade rendered the song, "Try a Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding and DaNica Shirey sang "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston last week. America voted them through to Live Shows week 4.
These contestants will once again perform tonight before their coaches and the Americans with the hope of making to next week's show.
"The Voice" Season 7 Live Shows Week 4 will be telecast at 8:00 pm EST on Monday on NBC Television (6.30 am IST, Tuesday). The episode can also be live-streamed online on Hulu.
