"The Voice" season 7 will go to Live Shows next week with coaches – Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pherrell Williams – having three contestants each to represent their respective teams. The competition is getting tougher with number of contestants being filtered from 48 to just 12 last week after eight participants were sent home in the Live Playoffs.
Taylor Brashears and James David Carter from Team Black, Jean Kelley and Elyjuh Rene from Team Pherrell, Bryana Salaz and Ricky Manning from Team Gwen, and Mia Pfirrman and Taylor Phelan from Team Adam were eliminated from the competition after they failed to impress the audience and their coaches during with their live performance.
Each team will now go to next week's live shows with three contestants each. Here is complete list of top 12 contestants:
Team Blake: Reagan James, Craig Wayne Boyd, Jessie Pitts
America saved Reagan James and Craig Wayne Boyd, while Jessie Pitts was saved by her coach Blake. Reagan sang the song, "Try" by Colbie Caillat in the Live Playoffs, Craig Wayne Boyd sang "Some Kind of Wonderful" by Soul Brothers Six, and Jessie Pitts performed the song, "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler.
Team Adam: Damien, Matt McAndrew, Chris Jamison
America saved Damien and Matt McAndrew, while Chris Jamison was saved by his coach Adam Levine. Damien sang "I'm Not the Only One" by Sam Smith, Matt sang The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows", and Chris rendered "Don't" by Ed Sheeran last week.
Team Pherrell: Luke Wade, DaNica Shirey, Sugar Joans
America saved Luke Wade and DaNica Shirey, while coach Pherrell saved Sugar Joans. Luke sang "Let's Get it On" by Marvin Gaye, DaNica performed "Help Me" by Joni Mitchell, and Sugar Joans took on the song, "I Say A Little Prayer" by Dionne Warwick.
Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams, Anita Antoinette, Ryan Sill
America saved Taylor John Williams and Anita Antoinette, while Gwen saved Ryan Sill. Taylor sang "Stuck in the Middle with You" by Stealers Wheel last week, Anita performed "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor and Ryan took on the song, "I Lived" by OneRepublic.
The surviving 12 contestants will compete with each other again in the Live Shows starting next week.
