It now seems that Vodafone India recently offered select subscribers the facility of unlimited voice calls and as much as 3GB 3G data valid for 28 days at Rs 449. This offer also seemingly let people enjoy countless local voice calls after recharging.
However, now, this offer seems to have ended. Nonetheless, this development assumes significance when we consider Vodafone's recent offerings that have theoretically posed stiff competition to Reliance Jio's 4G services. An indicator of Vodafone's Rs 449 unlimited local call offer has now come to light through an official tweet by noted telecom insider Sanjay Bafna who has tweeted details.
Check out Sanjay's tweet below:
After Airtel, now Vodafone India starts - Unlimited Local Mobile Calls + 3GB 4G/3G data at Rs.449.#Jio Impact

Gauging the above tweet, it is imminent that the Vodafone Rs 449 offer was made to only select prepaid subscribers in India since the company did not publicly announce such an offering. Also, the tariff plan seems to have expired on November 8, but those fortunate of having recharged for Rs 449 when the offer was active, should now check for benefits for 28 days.
If you are a Vodafone India prepaid subscriber, you can contact the customer care and check if the company plans on offering the Rs 449 plan on a wider scale.
Very recently, Vodafone India announced the end of incoming charges when on roaming through India. This announcement came into effect starting from Deepavali. This means that you will no longer be charged for incoming calls when on national roaming.
