A surprise seems to be in store for the fans of Tamil movie Vivegam. The widely-rumoured reports on Vivek Oberoi playing the villain's role in the Ajith-starrer are apparently not true. The actor himself has given a hint on his Twitter.
"Thank u so much for the love #Thala fans! I am humbled & honoured! Btw, who says I am the villain? Only God & @directorsiva knows! #Vivegam. [sic]" Vivek Oberoi tweeted.
The actor had previously posted about the pleasant weather in Serbia where the Vivegam unit is busy with the shooting. "Anyone up for a swim amidst the snow?? Haha! Shooting high up in the snowy mountain called Stara Planina! #Vivegam. [sic]" the Bollywood actor had posted.
The fans of Ajith welcomed his tweet and showered him questions related to the film and his role as a villain. This paved the way for Vivek Oberoi to provide clarity on his role.
Meanwhile, the makers are getting ready to thrill the fans of Ajith on his 46th birthday on May 1. They have reportedly planned to release a song teaser. It was earlier rumoured that a teaser from the flick would be unveiled, but recent reports say that the plans have undergone changes.
Currently, the movie is canning important sequences and completed 150 days of shooting. The Vivegam unit will return to India in the second week of May.
Vivegam had hit the floors in August 2016. The makers have plans to release the film in August. Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan are playing female leads in the flick written and directed by Siruthai Siva.
