The makers of Viswasam seem to be firm on their plans on releasing their movie on the scheduled date. The release of its first single on Monday, December 10, is seen as a strong indication that the flick will hit the screens for Pongal 2019.
There were reports that that the release of Ajith-starrer might be pushed after it was believed that Rajinikanth's Petta will also release for Pongal in January 2019. The latest buzz is that the production houses of both the films have now decided to avoid the clash between the two films.
Yes, the reports emerging from the industry says that Viswasam will release on January 10 and Petta will be out on January 14. The four-day gap is expected to be beneficial for both the movies.
It has to be noted that Sun TV, a part of Sun Pictures owned by Kalanithi Maran, has acquired the satellite rights of Viswasam.
On the other hand, Sundar C's Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, which stars Simbu, Ramya Krishnan and Megha Akash, will be also joining the race. The film is likely to be out on January 12.
Meanwhile, the first single from Viswasam has met with stupendous response from the fans. D Imman, Aditya Gadhavi and Narayanan have sung the song for which Viveka has penned the lyrics.
The audio of the Siruthai Siva-directorial, which has Nayanthara in the female lead, will be out this weekend.
