Telugu audience and critics are apparently not impressed with Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2. As per their review, the circumquel film Vishwaroopam is an incoherent film that can be avoidable.
The story of Vishwaroopam 2 continues from the first part. Wisam Ahmed (Kamal Haasan) helps the US army in defusing a deadly bomb set by his friend, dreaded terrorist Omar (Rahul Bose) in New York. Now, Wisam leaves for the UK to complete his next mission. But to his shock, Omar, who is still alive, has planned something big in India this time around. How Wisam saves his country forms the crux of the story.
Vishwaroopam 2 answers questions left out in the first instalment, but the movie looks like all leftover scenes from the first part were stitched together. It lacks coherence and grip factor and it is dragging in parts, say the Telugu audience and critics.

All the actors including Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah have delivered very good performances, but Vishwaroopam 2 belongs to Kamal Haasan. The movie has rich production value and action, music, camera work, dialogues are the other attractions on the technical front, add the Telugu audience and critics.

#Vishwaroopam2 - (1.75/5) Attempt gone HAYWIRE...! Except the action episodes everything seems to be fall flat as it suffers from too many Subplots n also by adding up some desi stuff. In all, it is an excellent technical product but, lacks on SCREENPLAY n the GRIPPING factor.

Inspite of 22 cuts Vishwaroopam 2 has managed to create the buzz , who watched it say writer & director Kamal Hassan comes to fore in this sequel . It answers to various questions raised in Part 1 & each scene has a connection to the part 1 . #Vishwaroopam2 Writer & Director Kamal Hassan has completed the story of Vishwaroopam 1 in #Vishwaroopam2 , a different approach to a sequel where by he is not created a new story but instead completed the 1st story so has maintained the continuity. 1st part was USA & 2nd part shifts to UK.

Vishwaroopam 2 is a disappointing sequel which has nothing going it's way. It's confusing, lacks proper screenplay and does not have the expected popcorn action sequences which was highlight of the first part. As the sequel was made years before, the story and narration lack the contemporary touch. All those who want to see the legendary Kamal Haasan on screen after a long time can try this film out but the the others can take this action entertainer easy and look for something else.

Vishwaroopam2 is a disappointing sequel. 90 minutes stretched first half is a patience testing one, action episodes in this installment are of lesser scale compared to its 2013 installment. On a whole, this film is no match to its predecessor. Kamal Hassan's efforts invain in this film.
