Vishal Krishna, the secretary of Nadigar Sangam, seems to be upset over Ajith Kumar for not attending the celebrity cricket tournament organised by the actors' guild on Sunday, April 17. His unhappiness reportedly came out after he stopped playing a song from Thala's film at an after-match party.
According to the Times of India, a party in a star hotel was organised after the completion of the tournament. The celebrities were in high spirits and enjoying the songs played by a DJ. The daily says that everything appeared fine until Vishal Krishna with Soundaraja of "Sundarapandian" fame went up to the DJ to stop the song, "Adharu Adharu" from "Yennai Arindhaal" from playing.
Ajith's absence at the celebrity cricket tournament, which was organised to raise funds to build the Nadigar Sangam's new building, has apparently caused this reaction from Vishal Krishna.
It may be recalled that there were reports of Ajith refusing to attend the cricket event when the members of Nadigar Sangam invited him for the tournament. Thala reportedly refused to turn up as he felt that the actors should contribute money from their own pockets to construct the new building of the actors' guild rather than raising funds from public.
His decision reportedly upset Vishal Krishna even though there was no confirmation on Ajith having such a stand.
The report on the daily calls the silence maintained by other celebrities in the party is strange as they often claim to be the big fans of Ajith. It is said that they use the name of Thala only to gain the love of the actor's huge fan base.
However, Ajith is not the only actor to have skipped the event. Vijay, Radikaa Sarathkumar and a few others were not spotted at the event too.
