The official trailer of Vishal's "Naan Sigappu Manithan" has been released.

Directed by Thiru, "Naan Sigappu Manithan" is about the life of a partially disabled person, who loses his only hope in life, his girlfriend, in a cruel incident and his mission to avenge the persons responsible for it. During this process, he encounters many surprises and how he gets back his love forms the story.
The film has Vishal appearing in the role of a guy who suffers from narcolepsy - a neurological sleep disorder. Lakshmi Menon is the female lead, while the other cast members include Saranya Ponvannan, Iniya, Jagan, Sunder Ramu and Jayaprakash in pivotal roles.
"Naan Sigappu Manithan" has been generating a lot of buzz ever since the first look was released. The film went on floors in November and the shooting was wrapped up a few days ago. Director Thiru completed the film on a fast track mode and the Vishal starrer is all set to hit the screens on 11 April as a Tamil New Year treat for fans.
The film's impressive first look posters, teaser and the songs, composed by GV Prakash, have created a lot of hype surrounding the film. The trailer is sure to boost the positive buzz about the Vishal starrer.
"Naan Sigappu Manithan" is the third outing in Vishal-Thiru association after "Theeradha Vilayaatu Pillai" and "Samar."
It is jointly produced by Vishal's VFF and UTV Motion Pictures. The film's cinematography has been handled by Richard M. Nathan, whereas editing has been done by Anthony L. Ruben.
The action flick, which will be out in theatres on 11 April, is all set to clash with comedian Vadivelu's comeback film "Jagajala Pujabala Tenaliraman." Moreover, Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan" is also slated to hit the screens on the same day. However, there has been buzz that the film's release might be pushed to May owing to the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu. An official announcement on the epic drama flick's exact release date is still awaited.
